Buggamon
Buggamon are a species of domesticated aliens who's genetic information came from a fearful invader many years ago.
The first original Buggamon was later referred to by humans as Genesis, as the tale goes it gave humanity both it's curses and blessings.
Curses for how humanity had treated it, blessings to those their domesticated children loved so dearly.
Buggamon Rule of 3
The Buggamon Rule of 3 helps to tie together the species traits across subspecies and hybrids while allowing wiggle room to push what a Buggamon can be without drifting too far from the original concept of what a Buggamon fundamentally is.
So long as the character has any combination of three or more key Buggamon characteristics it can be recognized as a cannon Buggamon.

Types of hybrids
Buggamon have two types of hybrids, Cross Beta and Cross Alpha hybrids. The difference is how much of the Buggamon is altered.
A wildcard subtype of Buggamon labeled Cryptids are a subgroup that exist for any Buggamon that doesn't fit into any of the other group.
Buggamon Trivia
Buggamon as a default loves humanity similar to how your pet loves you, this leads to a Buggamon rarely hurting a human for nearly any reason, however just like with humans, experiences can shape their personalities and hearts, a once cheerful Buggamon can grow cold the world.
Buggamons have two hearts and two brains
They don't use both hearts at the same time. As one is pumping the other is dormant unless the first heart can't pump enough or stops/fails.
With Cross Buggamon this second heart is much smaller, so if they lose whichever heart is dominant they'll have to be careful not to overwork the smaller heart.
While they have two brains only the one in their skull is as complex as those of humans. If only the second brain is working they lose all individuality and behave much like any other normal insect, however because of their size and abilities a Buggamon that cannot perceive itself as a person is put down.
When a Buggamon is born they bond with whomever smells like them ( parents, older siblings ) if no one does then they will bond with the first Buggamon they see, if no other Buggamon is around this changes to the first animal and finally human.
Buggamon spend the first few years using their praying mantis arms as their paw beans develop, then it takes up to 2 years for them to master using their paws
Baby Buggamon are born the size of kittens. They need a lot of sugar so the ideal baby food would be honey, sugar water etc.
whether or not a Buggamon is born from eggs or given birth o depends on the subspecies
Genesis and Traditional lay eggs.
Cross will give birth if mixed with mammals and lay eggs if mixed with birds or reptiles.
